Bollinger band

A Bollinger band is a charting tool that is composed of two upper and lower bands reflecting positive and negative deviation and a center line which represents a moving average.

The upper and lower bands and the center line form upper and lower bounds around the price of a cryptocurrency or token that determines if a coin or token is oversold or overbought.

This system was created by John Bollinger in the early 80’s and is now a basic component of almost every charting tool or exchange.
